A great steak is a quick and easy meal when you know how to. Let’s break down the steps in the video.
- Choose your steak. Any cut will do and I keep mine at least 1 inch thick.
- Choose your seasoning. I use my Texas Style Beef Rub. Coat both sides and the edges.
- Heat your pan on medium high heat until it just starts to smoke.
- Add a little olive oil and then add your steak.
- I like my steak medium rare to medium. Cook 3 minutes per side.
- After you’ve cooked both sides, use tongs to hold the steak on edge and sear each edge about 15 seconds or to your liking.
- Place on a plate or cutting board, cover with foil and let rest 5 minutes
- Serve and enjoy!
